Francis "Butch" L. Faust, 64, passed away on June 21, 2012, surrounded by his family at home in Elyria.
Francis was born on December 17, 1947 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Following his time in the United States Marine Corps, he settled in LaGrange. He worked as a machinist for the Parker Hannifin Corporation, and attended Elyria Baptist Church.
Butch was a man that certainly knew how to enjoy life; fishing, boating, dancing, traveling to historic sites, cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Survivors include his wife Judy (nee McKinney); daughter, Jane (Lee) Flanagan of LaGrange; sons, Francis "Butch" Jr. of Elyria, John (Jennifer) of Chippewa Lake and Shawn (Heather) of Elyria; step-son, Mark Sexton; grandchildren, Lee Jr., Ashley, Ryley, Mason, Felicity, Bryar, Breann and Amy; great-grandchild, Colton; sister, Emma Grace-Ross of Azle, TX.
Preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Clara E. Faust (nee Coffman); step-son, Brian Sexton; and sister, Joyce Egnor-Jones.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 11 AM. Reverend Darrell Deer will officiate. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post 1079 Elyria and the United States Marine Corps.
