Edith M. Peters (nee Stewart), 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Roselane Nursing Home, Massillon, following a long illness.
Edith was born on May, 25, 1930 in Montcoal, West Virginia. After living in Cleveland briefly, she settled in North Ridgeville, where she raised her family and worked for Dreco Plastics, retiring in 1990. She was an active member of Midway Baptist Church in Elyria, enjoyed her participation in the Silver Saints of Elyria and was extremely proud of her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Don) Korfmacher of North Royalton and Susan (Brad) Spencer of Canton; son, Thomas (Debbie) of Olmsted Falls; grandchildren, Becki, Brook, Jessica, Andrea, Rhonda, Paul, Danielle, Tom, Tim, Kaitlin and Sarah; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte, Helen, Diana, Phyllis, Sandy and Jean; brothers, Gary and Don.
Preceded in death by her husband Thomas (1983); daughter, Karen Edith Anthony; parents, Marvin and Mattie Stewart; and brothers, Fred, Roger and Bob.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 5 – 8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral Service will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 734 Boone Street, Whitesville, West Virginia on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 1 PM. Interment, Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
