Terrence P. Toich, age 59, of North Ridgeville, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake, after a sudden illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since he was 8 years old. He previously lived in North Olmsted.
Terrence worked as a landscaper for Don Mould's in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed the great outdoors; fishing and hunting with his son and spending time with his family and friends. His favorite time of the day was 6:00 a.m., when he would meet with his "man friends" either at home or at Butternut Corners for coffee, his own little coffee klatch. He also enjoyed the LIFELONG work on his yet unfinished 1967 Chevelle and his Sunday bowling league, which he was a part of for 20 years, and last but not least, he enjoyed eating 3 to 4 banana popsicles every night.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Judy (nee Ryder); daughters, Lisa (Tony) Beursken of Vermilion, Lindsay Toich and son, Sam Toich both of North Ridgeville; grandson; George Anthony, expected in January; mother, Lillian Mattis of Elyria; brothers, Gary (Sue) Toich of Elyria; Jerry (Janet) Toich of North Olmsted; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Toich.
Friends may call Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m at the Bogner Family Funeral Home. 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville..
A service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lorain County Metro Parks, Sandy Ridge Reservation, 12822 Diagonal Rd., LaGrange, OH 44050.
