Peggy J. Midkiff (nee Cottrell), 71, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Southwest Hospice Center in Strongsville surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Peggy was born on June 5, 1941 in Birchton, West Virginia. She has been a resident of Columbia Station for over 40 years. Peggy enjoyed travelling, gardening and hunting for deals at garage sales. Her true passion in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Ken Brock of Columbia Station, Neal (Jeannette) Brock of Elyria, Jim Midkiff of Columbia Station and Tim (Patricia) Midkiff of Elyria; grandchildren, Jamie, Stephanie, Brian, Katelyn and Carrie; great-grandchildren, Torey and McKendra; brothers, James, Butch (Linda) and Ray (Lottie), all of West Virginia.
Preceded in death by her husband Jim in 2011; parents, Harley and Ina Cottrell (nee Savage); and her brother, Bob.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 – 8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11 AM. The Reverend Denver Daniel will officiate.
Interment, Royalton Road Cemetery, Columbia Station.
