Mary C. Zickefoose, age 47, of Grafton, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Life Care Center of Westlake, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Cleveland and lived most of her life in North Ridgeville before moving to Grafton in 2002.
She was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School.
Mary worked as a machine operator for several local companies including Dreco, York International, USG and Avery Dennison.
She attended Elyria Church of God of Prophecy.
She enjoyed sewing, flowers, bike riding and playing with her nieces and nephews.
She was very involved with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure breast cancer awareness program.
Survivors include her parents, Darrel and Sylvia Zickefoose of North Ridgeville; brothers, Darrel Jr. (Donna) of Sullivan, Phil of North Ridgeville; sisters, Darlene McIe of North Ridgeville, Connie (Orison) Fields of Sheffield Lake, Diane (Darnell) Myers of LaGrange, Loretta (Joe) Scheetz of Sheffield Lake; 14 nieces and nephews; 4 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her niece, Crystal Fields.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Services will be held on Thursday at 1 PM in the funeral home. Pastor, Fred Robinette will officiate.
Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Center, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
