Eugene A. "Tod" Hunt, age 81, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Normandy Manor in Rocky River following a long illness.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and had been a resident of Normandy Manor in Rocky River for the past 7 years moving from Staten Island, New York.
Tod served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Hunt received his Masters Degree in Library Science from St. John's University, New York then worked for the University as a Librarian for 41 years, retiring in 1999. He was well loved and respected by his colleagues and the students.
Brother of Joan Courtney and the late James and Dominic Hunt; brother-in-law of Mary and Ellen Hunt and Thomas Courtney; uncle of several nieces and nephews; son of the late Dominic Patrick Hunt and Mary Theodata Hunt (nee McWilliams).
A funeral Mass is being planned for June and will be announced when details are available.
Inurnment will take place in St. John Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.
