Bruce R. Robison, age 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at his home, following a short illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 25 years moving from Brookpark.
Bruce served in the US Navy for 4 years.
He worked as a Firefighter and EMT for the Parma Fire Department and retired in 1994.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping and hunting. He was also a Hunting Guide in Alaska and Colorado. He spent his last few days turkey hunting with his best friends.
Survivors include his son, Kelly Robison of Brookpark; granddaughter Sarah Robison of Columbia Station; step-daughter, Lisa Payne of Hinckley; brother Scott Robison of Texas; nephews, Scott J. Robison of Texas, Michael Sarris of Medina; nieces Tiffany Oliver of Texas, Athena Fleming of Brunswick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Lois Robison; sister, Gayle Sarris.
Friends may call Friday from 4 PM until the time of services at 7:30 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, 44119.
